This is a lesson plan for Kindergarten.
Join us as we spend time with Mike in his craft room sorting his colours, we imagine creating in new crafty ways, like in the kitchen! Then, we decide to give a concert to celebrate our new skills, so we make a poster, practice, then perform. Mike, a small stuffed microphone with legs, loves singing, and he really wants to create some art. On our special adventure, we discover many different ways to be creative and gain some new literacy skills. We help Mike overcome small challenges along the way, not realizing we’re all making something amazing, together!
Through music, art, and movement, children will build foundational English vocabulary and social-emotional skills as they learn about colours, creating and teamwork on this special adventure with Mike.
