Transport on a journey through time and space! Connect with culture and community through interactive lessons in traditional and non-traditional music.
Wacky Wednesday
Expand your idea of what music can be with pedals, knobs, and unconventional ways of playing standard instruments. Transform everyday objects into a silly symphony.
Crafty Thursday
Think outside the box, showcase your style and create! Collaborate with other campers as you connect music and visual arts. Socialize and build relationships in a laid-back space.
Fun Friday
Get inspired by our Guest Artists with fun live performances in diverse musical styles and genres. Immerse yourself in creative process in a welcoming, hands-on environment.

Full Week $450 (no HST). Maximum 6 campers per week. Prepayment in full is required to secure a spot. Partial-week and single-day registrations are not available.
We are accepting 2 wait-listed campers per week. $30 non-refundable waitlist fee. Contact the school to be added. The school will contact you if a spot has been made available.
Monday - Friday: 9:00 - 2:15 pm
Daily Arrivals: 8:45 - 9:00 am
Lunch: 11:30 - 12:00 pm
Daily Pick-ups: 2:15 - 2:30 pm
$10 for each 15 mins past 2:30pm.
No cash refunds will be given due to student withdrawal. If the camp can’t proceed due to COVID-related reasons, credit will be issued in full on your South Windsor School of Music account, redeemable for private music lesson services and/or retail products.
Each day, campers should come prepared with a water bottle, a mask, nut-free lunch, 2 snacks and sun protection as needed. Please do not bring toys, tablets or other items unless asked. Materials provided.
The Camp takes place mainly at South Windsor School of Music, the shaded tree area close to our parking lot, with the occasional 5 minute walk down to Mark Park.
Summer Camp Staff
Bilal Nasser
Bilal is a performer, composer, and teacher. His energetic and approachable personality draws his students to learn through their own creativity and unique voices. Bilal studied classical guitar in university, but rather than performing the traditional repertoire, explored all things unordinary. He is interested in the use of technology, unconventional techniques, and bridging classical music with other mediums.
Sarah Gill
Sarah Gill has been involved with music for most of her life. She began to play the clarinet at the age of nine and quickly developed a passion towards the arts, participating in concerts and recitals. Sarah has a wealth of experience working with kids as a childcare provider, as well as an older sister. Her main goal is to help young kids unleash their creative side! In her spare time she enjoys singing and listening to 60’s music.
Michael Gordon
Michael Gordon is a music educator and multi-instrumentalist who has expertise in alto, tenor and baritone saxophones, as well as piano and voice. Michael has been immersed in music education from a young age, and as such seeks to share this passion with children. His energetic, lively, and engaging teaching style helps his students explore the connection between music, creativity, and emotion.

Summer Camp Guest Artist
Josinah Makotoko
An out-of-the-box thinker whose long list of expertise includes competitive skateboarding, singing, wood burning, resin art, painting, jewelry and accessory making. She is inspired by everyday life, upcycled materials, and the funky, vibrant colours and her South African culture. As a City of Windsor day camp leader and mother, Josinah brings a non-traditional and accessible artistic prowess to the camp.
