Piano Teacher Information

Jack is entering his second year of study at the University of Windsor’s Odette School of Business. He is pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce with a specialization in Marketing and a minor in Applied Information Technology. When he is not teaching, you can find him studying or spending time with his friends and family.

At an early age, Jack discovered his passion for music and began playing piano at the age of 4. He started out in the Music for Young Children program and eventually moved on to the Royal Conservatory of Music curriculum. He is certified in both Level 8 Piano and Theory.

Aside from his technical experience, Jack also loves to perform. He has participated in numerous Kiwanis Music Festival competitions and won the Highest Aggregate award a few years back. He also performed in a few Canadian National Conservatory of Music performance examinations, and won the Silver Medalist award in 2013 at the CNCM Summer Sizzle Keyboard Kamp. At the age of 10, he composed his own piece of music, “Slammin’ the Keys,” which was published in the Canadian National Conservatory of Music’s composition book, Shuffle on Schumann.

Jack’s wide range of experience allows him to cater to a large variety of learning styles when teaching music. He hopes to help others find their love for music and performing, just as he has!
