Guitar Teacher Information

Bilal Nasser is a guitarist and composer from Windsor Ontario. Beginning his musical studies in his youth with classical guitarist Mike McNamara, he quickly cultivated an interest in contemporary classical, folk, world, rock and electronic music. Equipped with experience performing and teaching he moved to Toronto to pursue a music degree in the studio of William Beauvais at York University. During his university studies he performed guitar repertoire and his own compositions in numerous recitals and showcases, in the Classical Guitar Ensemble directed by Brian Katz, and was the first guitarist to play as a soloist in Yorks Concerto Competition in Concert. He did not limit himself to classical guitar however, also performing in the New Music Ensemble, Balkan Ensemble, World Music Showcases, and in open-improvisation soirees.

Bilal is passionate about making music education as creative and accessible as possible. Able to work with students of all ages and creative interests, he caters lessons to prioritize helping students reach their own specific musical goals.
